The house was perfect for a large group. Very convenient distance to downtown and Mount Pleasant. Great backyard space as well! Taylor was very communicative and helpful when I had any questions.

In a great neighborhood! It was quiet and close to everything we wanted to do. We don't go just to go to the beach, we also like to do other things in Charleston in the downtown area. Our family had a great time and would definitely book again.

This home is in a great location, quiet neighborhood with families, nice for walks to coffee shops or lunch, while also giving quick access to downtown and highly rated restaurants, theaters, and historical sites, plus under an hour to several nice beaches. Taylor and Paul were awesome hosts, quick to respond to questions and ensuring our stay provided everything we needed. The outside deck was very comfortable. Nice spot to enjoy the sunshine. When the weather is warmer in summer, the porch would be a good place to enjoy the outdoors out of the heat. The backyard was perfect for our older dog, no porches to navigate, with an option of sun or shade. Some of the comments in the past reviews, I can understand, the place shows some wear, but we found this home to be what we needed for our group of five, and for the price.

I can't say enough good things about this house. it is clean, spacious, and comfortable. We felt right at home. Great fenced-in back yard for my dog. perfect location. Quiet and walkable neighborhood, and 10 to 15 minute drive to everything you want to see in Charleston. Taylor was a great host, and a proactive and kind communicator. I highly recommend to anyone who wants to explore Charleston.

Beautiful property. Limited parking for 12 people but it worked. Really enjoyed the backyard. Only mishap was the dog hair on the beds and furniture and floors. Otherwise would definitely stay again

My husband and I visited Charleston for our honeymoon and could not have found a better Airbnb. Taylor was communicative, friendly, and always around. His place was simply perfect and had everything we needed during our stay. We were mere minutes from downtown Charleston, which gave us the perfect commute. We were not in the hustle and bustle but close enough if we wanted to go. Taylors home was private and had easy access. It was a beautiful home, with everything we needed for our stay. My husband and I are already planning on another visit one summer with our friends!

We had such a wonderful trip to Charleston and we are so glad to have found this home to stay in for our duration. The house felt like home! It was clean and homey. It was a great mix of modern but cozy too. The back yard was great for the kids to play and the screened in porch area was so nice to use. I appreciated all the amenities and felt like everything was thought of ahead of time. We will definitely keep this host in mind for other vacations in the future.

great place to stay if your looking to be nearby Charleston

Being originally from Charleston and dumbfounded by the increase in traffic, we very much appreciate being so centrally located. I adored all the landscaping around the house and was super pumped to have 2 fig trees with ripened amazing tasting figs. Paul has done a very good job remodeling this older home. It felt comfortable from the moment we walked in. Check-in/entering the home was simple. wifi worked great. The portable fans were much appreciated in such high heat. I would totally stay here again.

Paul’s home in Charleston was an amazing stay! It is conveniently located with easy access to Ubers for a short ride to downtown. The house is clean with all of the basic amenities supplied. It has a great outdoor space with a deck and fire pit as well as a screened in porch that definitely helps with the bugs! The master bedroom and bath were so spacious and nicely decorated. Everyone had a comfortable stay and I highly recommend this airbnb!

The house was great! We had a group of 8 women had plenty of room. Even though it only has two bathrooms we were fine and had room to get ready together in the master with the large mirror. The house offers multiple areas to sit in and we never felt crowded in the house. The house has cute little places you can walk to and very close to the downtown area with all the night life! Would highly recommend this house!

Paul's Place was in a great location- very close to downtown Charleston and the surrounding islands. The neighborhood was quiet and pleasant. Master bedroom and bathroom were fantastic. The other two rooms were large enough and good for guests. The outdoor patio deck is also fantastic and the screened in porch gives the house a larger feel which is nice. I think the only issues were that it's listed as 5 bedrooms. Two of the bedrooms are closets converted to serve as bedrooms. They would be best for families with kids. A little TLC to fix a screen door that opens to the outside and changing out stained cushions on the porch would give it a better feel, but overall it was a great stay.

Paul was very kind and helpful and made our stay great. Beds were extremely comfortable and the girls trip was a success!

We enjoyed our stay in Charleston and Paul was a fantastic host! He was friendly and communicative. We loved the location and enjoyed the large screened in porch the most. I will note the house needs a bit of maintenance and deep cleaning both inside and outside. The ‘5 bedrooms’ was also a bit deceiving.

This place was so cute and a convenient 10-minute drive to downtown. There were so many nice touches throughout the home. My only complaint (super minor) is there were no wash cloths and no iron. I highly recommend this place and would definitely stay again.

We greatly enjoyed our stay here! The house was conveniently located by the downtown area of Charleston, it was only about a 10 minute ride. The place was clean when we first arrived, and the layout was spacious. It also offered a couple of games/activities to play with friends which was a nice touch. Paul was also friendly and welcoming.

We came in town for a wedding and were more than comfortable with 10 people in the house. Super clean, lots of space, and cozy for our short stay. Also only a 10 minute uber to downtown Charleston! Would definitely stay again!

we enjoyed our family Christmas at this house. Awesome backyard with a great outdoor porch. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook dinners. A few times we were a little short on utensils so I was glad I had some plastic utensils with us.

We had a great stay at Paul’s place! Paul was very helpful, friendly and responsive. We felt right at home. His house is an 8 minute Uber drive from downtown and it was super convenient for us when we wanted to explore and get some good food. The space is great for a group of friends wanting to hang out. The beds were super comfortable especially the master! Would definitely stay here again, thank you!

Paul was a great host. He was always responsive. It was a great location close to everything you would want to do but also a private neighborhood for peace and quiet after an eventful day. Highly recommend Paul as your host!

Each member of our group felt right at home while being able to comfortably sleep 12. Most definitely recommend this rental for larger groups that want to experience multiple areas of Charleston!

We really enjoyed our stay at this location, and found it to accommodate all of our needs. There are 2 washers and 2 dryers which I thought was amazing! Our guests reported that the beds were very comfortable. There are 3 main “hangout spots,” so plenty of room for large groups. The kitchen is stocked! We would definitely love to return to this home, and will recommend to others as well!

easy access to the tourist stuff but not in the middle of it. walking to the Rosedale cages etc is a real perk. and the outdoor space and yard were just what kids needed

Booked Paul’s place for a bachelorette party with 8 people and had plenty of space and room! Not far from things to do and places to eat. The outdoor space was very enjoyable as well. Paul was very responsive and accommodating! Instructions were easy and very clear. Loved our time here!

My hosts Taylor & Paul were awesome! The place needs a lot of work! The pictures do not accurately portray the current conditions. Close to almost everything Charleston! Neighbors were really nice! Taylor (néw management)will get the place in order and hire a more responsible cleaning crew! The stocked kitchen was welcoming. We had plenty of space for 7 people. The best room is the master! Very neat, clean, updated and what I expected for the entire home. We enjoyed our stay!

Stayed here for 2 nights. Was a great home for entertaining a whole family. The sunroom and outdoor deck were big hits.

Our family enjoyed our stay. The place had the perfect amount of bedrooms for the adults & our grandchildren. We enjoyed Charleston during the day and were able to meet up with additional family members in Summerville in the evenings. Taylor often reached out to remind us if there was anything that we needed to let him know. I was pleasantly surprised with the amount of essentials that the home provided because usually we end up having to purchase extra TP & cleaning supplies but that was not the case for this home.
